The Physics Institute is located in the Ondina Campus, close to the seafront. Access for cars is through the main gate of the Campus, which is on Av. Ademar de Barros, close to the Zoo. Other accesses, but only for pedestrians, are through the Faculty of Architecture (Caetano Moura Street), or through the Institute of Geosciences (Garibaldi avenue).
